Billy T's Flight Crew sets and Daz Studio 4.6

Hello there,
Hope someone can help as Daz Studio is getting very irritating.
Every time I save a scene using Billy T's air crew sets whether its the V4/A4 version or the M4 version it screw it up big time in regards to the helmet.
When you reload the scene with a V4 character the helmet has jumped 4 inches upwards and when you reload a scene with an M4 character the helmet drops down.
Sometimes the oxygen mask does the same thing

If you zero out the helmet it does not change its position.
I even tried parenting the helmet to cure the problem but on reload it jumps in the other direction.

As this is not the first time I caught DS editing background parameters I presume its a programming bug that has not been fixed but any ideas would be helpful. What is worse these bugs have appeared with the duf file system as the Daz files never seemed to exibit this sort of "error"

Thanks in advance
Steve C

In truth it is a error in the Item that causes this when it is converted to DAZ Studio data. The error is only noticeable when the saved file is loaded as it reads the data file. A clean load is okay as it causes a new data file to be written. It could be just one ngon (bad vert) in the items that causes it. I've seen this before with older content. Even my older scene files will do this depending on the items used.

    Thanks for that...
Davo's stuff does this quite a bit as well. I might have to open the item in Poser and save it again as a cr2 as this sometimes fixes the file.

Good Tip. I should have thought of that. Hexagon can also fix Tri's to Quads If you have it.

The V4/A4 crew set was fixed in Poser
The M4 version available elsewhere did not.
However I tried something I've not done before and that was to export it direct from Daz studio as a Cr2 and that did work.
Alas this will not work with the Davo items as they have to load correctly the first time!

Thank you for the Info. I have some DAVO but not much. Which are failing for you?
