Hello,

I use a layout in four parts.

Two docked pane groups on both sides of the screen and two undocked pane groups who are minimized on the bottom of the screen.

When I save my layout, the two docked pane groups are saved but not the two undocked ones

How can I do to save my full layout ?

TIA

    Window--->WorkSpace--->Save Layout As...

    If you are on a PC you can just hit F4.

    After some more tries, it appears that panes can be saved in a certain way.

    If you open a new pane from the main menu, it appears in a new floating tab. You can add other panes in that tab and all can be saved.

    But that tab is not a windows and can't be minimized. If you want to transform that tab in a windows, you need to "make that pane undockable" by the right click option. You can also open a new window by use the same option on a pane being in a existent docked panes group

    These windows can be minimized, but they can not be saved.

    That the reason while I don't understood what was happening. If you want to save a layout, it need to be in one single windows. Many tabs are allowed, but not two windows or more.

    I thank you in advance to validate (or not) that explanation.

    (my mother tongue is not english)

    Yes, that's correct. You cannot save new independent windows (those created via the make pane undockable function). However, that's not required to create independent windows.

    To separate a tab from the main UI, simply drag the tab to the center of the viewport and release. This will give you an independent window that you can move around, although if you put it over the main UI, it WILL try to redock so you have to avoid that.

    This is my custom 2 monitor layout:
