Maybe it's time for some stupid questions

Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?

Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

and of course the one we all want the answer to

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

I tried to stick with questions that were pertinent to all. Over here our places are now called "Job Centres"

...yeah, they've been trying to come up with more "upbeat" names lately here, but the old one is pretty much what everyone still uses.

Why do so many things come in pairs when just one of most of them would be useless? Example?

When was the last time you used one pant?
When was the last time you used one plier?
When was the last time you used one tweezer?
When was the last time you used one scissor?
When was the last time you used one chopstick?

Stupid question, what are the ways I can deselect something in DS so I would have nothing selected? I am looking for a key stroke or a menu option.

...are you receiving error messages when trying to load a prop or new figure?

not an error but it is hard to see smart content that is unrelated to currently selected item. just trying to figure an easy way to unselect a figure so I can see all my smart content.

    Right click / de-select

...ah, I don't use smart content myself as about two thirds of my content was installed with the old manual Bitrock installers.

Didn't start using the DIM until July when I changed my ISP to a cable system as my old wireless connection was very unstable and would cause the DIM to crash. At this point leaving things the way they are as I would have to manually uninstall all the content I installed before I started using the DIM (to avoid conflicts with any updated versions) and do a full clean re-install. That would be a major undertaking I don't have the time for right now as finding a job in RL is a bit more important.

Why I thought that maybe it was when loading content is that at times I forget to deselect something in a scene I'm working on and when I go to load a new prop or figure and get a warning that the new item cannot be loaded into the existing one. What I do then is go to the Scene tab and just click on an empty area of the tab which deselects the item.

Earlier this afternoon I was getting out of bed and happened to look at my socks. There was the letters G and a backwards C so the first thing that came to mind was "Gamma Corrected" lol. Oc then I told myself that I was losing it...sigh.

Facebook: A place where you discover that people you once respected can't spell.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

There are two different kinds of people in this world: those who finish what they start, and

Some people are like Slinkys™. Not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

No sense in being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

Bite me Frank. I do not care what you say 7, 9, 11, 19 and 24 are STILL cold when your normal temp is 33 or 36F. I live down here for the mild weather, now you take back this cold stuff YOU keep sending south or I'll find a Fizgig and do bad things to it...

    I miss the Fizgig....
