I really like the new Installer but what about the software purchased outside of Daz? For example I bought some things from Content Paradise and other sites in the past. Is there a way for the Installer to open these native files as well via the new installer? If not, do you have to do the older process of using the original exe?

The DAZ Install Manager only works with content bought from the DAZ 3D store I'm afraid.

You will need to install other content yourself.

So, if you have everything purchased from Daz - how do you find the directory with the textures so I can alter them or make changes myself?
I have even tried looking for the Runtime directory for the original source files.

Is there one item in particular that you are looking for?

If you installed by DIM, then go to the Installed Files tab, select the item you want, and right click on it. There are several options, Installed Files is one of them, and it will show where all of the files were installed to.

If it is one of the older Bitrock (exe) installers, then just install it again to an empty folder, and you will be able to see the structure. Texture files are usually put into the Runtime folder, under Textures.

    EDIT:

The simplest way of all, of course, is to select the texture in the Surfaces pane, right click on the Diffuse channel, and Browse to Folder.
