In a few of the images the character is dressed in a vest rather the dress. What product is that vest?

I figured it out. It buccaneer vest and courageous tunic; however, I don't know how to use courageous tunic to be use as an Indian dress.
Courgeous for V4 is a dress, but it has mat zones to support a tunic style, and you would do it with textures.

.. or just get the Cheyenne for V4 dress

I already have the two items, but I don't know how to make them look as they are in the images in the Cheyenne Village Action V4 advertisement.
There are two vests - one is a long brown one which is indeed from Buccaneer (featured in fourth promo, "Village Dramas", the girl at the bottom with the stick), but the other is from West Wild:

Look at the third West Wild promo, compare it to the "Cooks" promo of Cheyenne Village Action V4... it's been retextured with some blue dots along the shoulders... which are possibly the denim texture from the Good, the Bad and the Lovely:

Which vest is causing you problems?
Thanks for the suggestion. I just bought it. I have another question, but instead of starting a new thread, I'll ask it here. Is there a bear-skin rug anywhere or animal (rug-type) skins in general. I'm trying to put something together that looks like a primitive bed.
If you're using DAZ Studio, there's a free dynamic cowskin over here:

... that you could probably drape over a bed several times and texture with different "hairiness" and colours to make into furs. (note that it's not appropriate for Poser).
If you're thinking of a rug with the animal head still attached... I don't recall seeing any of those around, although you may be able to combine one with one of (eg) Alessandro_AM's animals, and carefully making the body transparent and replace it with the cowskin above (whether it would work or not would depend on how much detail you need in the rug, ie how close it is to the camera).
In my big render of the Cheyenne Village I actually used some free props from the old 3DSC packs for their NA set

Zip 4 has an animal skin
