Installation- where does After Effects Plug-In Go?

I have three choices in the C>Program Files>DAZ3D section- Carrara 8, Carrara Render Node 8, and Content Management Service. I am assuming I need to put the After Effects Plug-In in one of these? I've extracted the files but dont know where to put them. That's question one. Number two is - when extracted, all I have is Docs folder, and something labeled CarraraImporter.aex. What is that and what do I do with it?

    Carrara 8 > Extensions, I believe. That's where plugins go.

    It is installed not like most plugins, since it is a plugin for the After Effects program and not the Carrara program one. It lets After Effects read .cae files you save in Carrara.

    I typed up a detailed answer covering installing it, etc. in the thread you have in the Commons asking about the plugin in case you missed it.
