Is anyone working on Biblical clothing for either the G3 or G8 figures? Or are there any such products available, already? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

Some of the shawls and caftans with simple cloth textures can also serve a Biblical clothing.
zombietaggerung,
Thank you very much for those four clothing file recommendations! Looks like I'll be spending more money

You are quite welcome, I'm glad to help. And I forgot to add this one: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-wise-wizard-hd-clothes-for-genesis-8-males The robe and cape could work as well and it autofits to the female figures well enough.

All of those suggestions are nice I own the desert robes but truth be known, none of those are actually, "biblical" ... Hellenic is the more "Hollywood" version of what Jewish Rabbi would have worn in ancient Israel. I wonder if we can stretch the boundries of imagination and finally see a "Jesus Christ HD" character that would come with the option of flesh wounds and a crown of thorns and a cross.
Surely the name Jesus is public domain enough to make into a character...

That example is good for early nomadic characters but later historical "New Testement" characters had several pieces of clothing and contrary to the hollywood version, items such as a 4 tasseled tzitsit and the main character is known to be a community speaker in state forums so he would have been a well dressed rabbi wearing the primary colors of gold and blue in a couple of garments including a turban, tzitzit, yarmulca and a tunic and breastplate.
People sometimes forget that the Jesus characters clothing were so nice that the Roman soldiers actually fought for and then gambled over the value of his clothing. He was dressed as a Jewish King upon entering Jerusalem... not a peasant. The outfits would have been much more complex and rich.
I hadn't noticed those Roman packs... thanks for pointing them out.. I put them on my wishlist for now.. A little pricey and I'm not a huge fan of "d-force" with its added rendering complications... The Roman togas are an especially useful tool if you want to show the occupational forces that were in power at the time so Cesaer on through to the Roman pharisee leader Paul but Yeshua and the Jews would have worn much different clothing bearing in mind he would have been dressed as a stately king and priest whose clothing were so nice that they divided up the clothing and then gambled over who got to keep what... Most people forget that detail.
Making church literature is a very profitable industry... so it would be awesome to able to represent that truth in art. Clearly not an easy task... it would take a pretty special artist to be able to tackel such a undertaking. But then it would also be interesting to see a Buddha character...
