No content with 30 day trial

Hi All,

I downloaded the 30 day trial, but there is no content included. Is there some available somewhere or do I have to buy the product in order to get the native content? I really would like to "try before I buy." :cheese:

So, what content are you looking for? If you mean Poser or DAZ figures, then if you already have some, you should be able to use them. If you mean the Carrara native content, such as terrain presets, shader presets, etc. then you're out of luck.

All of Carrara's core functionality is there and ready to test. Things like the replicator, plant editor, sky/atmosphere editor, modelers, etc. are all functional.

Here's a scene I made that's scaled to fit Poser style characters. The scene uses proxy objects based on these free Poser style buildings:

Just place the houses where the geometric shapes are, and delete the shapes. Or, if you don't want to mess with the houses, just delete the shapes and you will be left with a partially wooded terrain.

Yeah as far as I know you'll have to make do without the native content, but to be honest you aren't missing much.

There are some nice models. Not many, I grant you, but some. There are far more nice shaders, clouds, scenes, etc. that come in handy to poke around in and see how things were done, if nothing else.
