I  catagorize my clothes for each figure and generation ,Armour -SciFi -Modern- Intimates -Shoes -Accessories and then futher for example Modern is divided into Casual -Formal- Business .But I don't use Smart Content ,and actually move folders and stuff in folders  around to suit me

There aren't any tennis poses, so I will be making some eventually I gather. cheeky

It would be VERY much appreciated!

There used to be a set at Renderosity with G3F poses that kinda sorta mostly worked, but the set got pulled only a couple of months after it went on sale. Anain closed their Rendo store, and since it was a coproduction with a couple of other vendors, it disappeared as well. As far as I can tell, those may have been the ony tennis poses produced for any of the Genesis generations.

Has anyone considered categorizing by wardrobe type. It occured to me, while I was hunting through my wardrobe of men's thing that it would be nice to have shoes all in one locale. And it made me wonder if there would be some value to doing that for the same generation to make things easier to find.

I also for example am certain I have at least 7 mens watches, but they are parts of sets, and I'm just not sure where they are when I need them.

Anyway, kinda thinking of doing that. It might be a useful experiment.

When & if I ever categorize all my DAZ things it's be by:

    1) Male

    2) Female

and each of those will have clothing by category as you say, 'fashion style' (if I know the style which is almost certainly not going to be the case), and year range (eg regular cut blue jeans vs bell bottom blue jeans have different year ranges - however it's almost certain with this also I will not know the appropriate year ranges).

I have Some existing cateogries: Formal Wear, Underwear, PJ's, Sweats and Athletic, Scifi and Adult, And Contemporary Casual and Accessories.

Sadly, so much though that I have is rather forgetable, so I don't recall that I have well... 70 pairs of men's shoes. LOL.

It will be next on my list. Should be fairly simple to make some standard tennis poses for the guys.

Items should be categorised by type under Wardrobe.

I will check this out. Thanks! =-)

I rhink the other thing I need to categorize is socks, jewerly, hats and eye apparrel. Oh... Holy @@@@ and guys and weapons which are parentable. I think I have dozens of those. It would be so nice to be able to find weaponry by generation.

I have to be careful wtih this though. I'll spend so much time moving stuff around I won't do any renders!wink

Wow! I am in awe. I like those divisions to shoes. I have mine all in one folder. I still don't appear to have white tennis shoes either. But its nice to see them all at a glance.

Well as soon as I learned what folders I shouldn't touch ,I started moving things around that I could ,so that I could find themand it made me nuts trying to remember what set the necklace I wanted to use was in ,which would frustrate me and cause the "Shut it down and walk away from the computer" syndrome out of frustation

I started manually moving my folders around last year. I got sick of the database losing my carefully contrstructed categories. Plus I can't stand environements being in props folders and vice versa! Thanks for sharing your tips. That seems quite useful.

    https://www.daz3d.com/jw-swimsuit-set-for-genesis-8

Here is the new JW Swimsuit for Genesis 8 male/female. I applied textures from the expansion, and made the shorts shorter.

I like them, they are a nice basic, but I wish the textures were more exciting in the base package. Also I had to apply smoothing modifier to the product to get Boyd's thigh to not poke through. There are plenty of adjustments, but none seemed to fix that issue. The overall look is nice though.

The bikini of the female swimsuit will also fit okay if you have fit control. This is a fairly simple piece though with only one mat zone, so I recolored it. None of the female textures did it for Boyd. You'll need to apply a smoothing mod to this piece as well to get it to fit the guy elements.

I recently began reconverting some of my old genesis 2 clothing. This was Horror Survivors. The fit is nearly perfect except for the neckline of the shirt.

The new Pose Architect is really pretty cool! It makes saving and creating poses easier. I really like how it converts the pose for you, so all you need to do is save. The added bends for the neck, arms, and joints are also really great. Some of the gestures, and hand positions, and hip positions... Appear classically female model though. So it looks like I'll need to use some of those with caution, unless that's the look you're going for.

Nice- I have to dig into that and see what I can do with it.  I did a new render just by manually moving.......everything. lol

The creator said as long as no third party controls are used it can be used as a merchant resource. I use the default pose controls and theirs... but I never use third party pose controls.

I am so far behind.  Going to be working on catching up a bit hopefully.

    This is awesome.

Boyd with his lime scooter. I had tremendous amount of difficulty with this simple render, due to a product throwing a duplicate formula error. All my batched night renders did not render.

The scooter is cute, but too small for Boyd. (Then again, since he's pretty tall, this is unsurprising) . The pose also didn't work for me too well. It was quite stiff, with the knees, up and the legs and arms oddly placed. So I relaxed it a bit...

He is clearly out for a coffee run.

The posing on this is fantastic

Okay, here is my final image with the snow. I think it turned out very well. Especially the addition of the rescue dog. And I finally got to use Ron's powder for the snow drifitng off the injured medic's back.

    And I love this one.

I will have to get caught up on the rest soon.

A friend convinced me to buy this https://www.daz3d.com/market-stall-and-props

i admit I think it is super cute...even if I can’t for the life of me figure out what to do with it. Maybe the boys will have to do some canning,

They can always go to a farmers market or a street fair. Maybe something in the Tangy Apple Orchard, if you have that.

Mayhap that's how they meet their neighbors, even! "Oh, no, no more jelly!"

I have acquired a bee. Poor Boyd. I'm not sure he's ever been stung by an insect.

Oh, I think that's a fun idea. I do think the boys would go to farmer's market, and Boyd is a nice southern lad, and would like his jam on his biscuits. Boyd learning to eat real food after eating the equivalent of ensure for nearly 20 years, is going to be fun for Owen.

Well we have all kinds of people selling that sort of stuff although it used to be until the past 4 or 5 years only middle ages to little old ladies now it is Amish folk and these 'Artisan' foody types have sprung up everywhere. I feel like I should tell them; you're in rural Appalachia we can't afford $5 single serving sizes of their artisan jellies, but I don't. laugh

I should have plenty of peaches this year, enough to give away a lot of them. The other trees are still coming along.

Here's a pose I made with Pose Architect. There are quite a few of these now. I think a new pose set is imminent, but as usual testing, and promo art, takes up most of my time.

anyway, inspiration for this song, is Owen & Boyd's theme song: Kele Okereke

    My Guy remake... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVPjuK6Hs8U

Kele Okereke's got an amazing voice...I think this describe's Owen's feelings for Boyd to a T.

Boyd shows off his orange knee socks in this https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-on-vacation-outfit-for-genesis-8-males

I actually really like this set, buttons aside. The camera and fanny pack are useful, and the textures show some thought and care, and include presets which I like.

Overall, I know I will get some use out of this one, even if the boys may protest the... Color of the socks. =-)

And it turns out that Okereke's co-written a thematically appropriate musical, even: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2019/jan/25/leave-to-remain-review-musical-kele-okereke-lyric-hammersmith-london

You can hear a few of the songs at Youtube. They're definitely ... different.
