Someone mentioned in another thread he dials into everything and they had put in a ticket. I've bought him but not downloaded or installed him - probably waiting until the fix.

Here is Allistair. I think his skin is really quite nice, and he is quite hunky. He's a big man and his body type would make a super hero.

I like the facial flush, however, I wish it was an option, since it might not suit every character and situation.

I was wondering if you'd bother buying Alistair as I felt he was very similar in general phenotype to Boyd. You've rendered him paler than the ad copy shows him.

Alistair was nice genes, and yes he has a boydish quality. I got him for the skin and with hope of using fewer body morphs than Boyd has at present Alistair is actually more bulky than Boyd but he has lees tone.

My ticket has made it to bug trwcker and the pa is working on him so hopefully he’ll get fixed soon.

Here's Owen in his nice warm sweater with the baby. I couldn't do much with baby Tobyn, so I swapped Tobyn out for Rosie who looked a little better...  I wish someone would make a cute boy baby, but... Er... This is the best I could do.

Have you looked at https://www.daz3d.com/small-world-for-caryn-8-hd-and-tobyn-8-hd? They look cuter than plain Tobyn to me. Or how about the new https://www.daz3d.com/babyfication-for-caryn-8-and-tobyn-8?

Well, at least it is on sale. I think you get a better deal if you buy both together, but I didn't try it.

    The babification morphs are fun!

The set came with two morphs 1 and 2. This is 2.

I'm going to try tweaking the nose a bit more.

Can you give the babies abs? Not that you should, because it would be kind of creepy, but is it possible?

I will look but you’d have to overcome the doughy baby belly. When I first dialed in the babyfication morphs the boys had muscularity and hd and Michael 8 dialed in. The resulting look was... sort of like Baby Popeyes. I removed all the definition morphs, muscular body hair and Michael 8 and this was the result. For some reason m8 head morphs made the baby have really massive jaws.

Well your result looks good. It's clearly Owen & Boyd and they are funny. Like when the same thing is done to Looney Tune or other characters.

Cool on the babification. Maintains the character of the originals.

I thought this was a fun little morph set. It is easy to make babies now..... I'll just have to blend some of their features a bit!

Exactly! They look like when the characters are suddenly turned into kids!

Thanks! I do agree with your early post- it is tough to know what you need to buy when you buy stuff here. They could do a better job of letting users know product requirements.

    Ummmm won't Boyd be jealous?

No,  Boyd is still Boyd just spread out over multiple body units. So it would be like being jealous one arm gets more attention than the other.

On the subject of really cool things I've overlooked and shouldn't have in the DAZ Store is this lovely gem: https://www.daz3d.com/predatron-light-truck Predatron Light Truck

Just check out all the cool stuff you get with it. Not only do you get the cage bed, the flat bed, and the cooler, you get junk, several types of exteriors a couple of interiors, working doors and headlights. And fresh meat to hang in the back for that action movie scene.

Thanks to my friend Nic for pointing out, that I really needed to buy this wink

I picked that up from Fast Grab, as well.

Though now I'm terrified that we'll see Boyd and Owen vs Alien in the meat van.

This is an interesting product. It is Ocean HDRI's by Causam. There is an error in the directory file stucture, but I was able to click through it. I'm always looking for HDRI where the character is IN the water.

Nice! Think I'll have to take another look at that set, I haven't done many water scenes because getting them to look good is tricky and takes more photoshopping than I care for these days.

It is definitely worth a gander. The waterplane has some morphs to it, and is one of the better looking one. The hdri renders fairly quickly and could be used for other things.

On the subject of things i bought and have never had a chance to render, Owen, was voluntold to pose with the Centipede from WORMS https://www.daz3d.com/worms

There are a number of realistic insects in this set and insect-like critters, including snails and fantasy worms.

I chose the centipede because it was colorful.

Be warned, he isn't easy pose so you basically have to pose each digit, leg, and body part by itself. There are bend, and twist options for each digit, but its easy to do too much. You really do have to pose each segment by itself to get a realistic bend. I also couldn't find any morphs to make it open its mouth. Maybe it does exist- somewhere. It is colorful and scary all at once, which is just what I wanted, but this set desperately needs a pose set!

Strings (by the same artist) has the same problem - no poses and no "easy pose". You can select multple segments and bend all those at once, but that is about it. I tried to use the Active Pose tool on one of the Strings (rope), and it crashed Daz Studio with a stack overflow.
