A B A type animations in DAZ 4.6 don't seem to work, any workaround?

Like if you have a frame at 0 , 20 and 40.
you put A on 0 B on 20 and put A again in 40 so that it loops.
well it's not working. I dont get it. but instead of doing a loop, it makes a little pause. and if i want to save it in aniblocks, it keeps that pause.
so how in the heck can i do perfect loops in 4.6?
i would always do A B A loops like this in DAZ 3 and it worked

Yup i even tested it by exporting to Unity to see if it was just DS being slow and not showing all frames, but no. Same in Unity. SO
why is DS 4.6 not making perfect loops?
Or do i have to make them like A B A but then make the second to last frame be the last frame and delete the last frame? Well i tried that and still DAZ 4.6 pro creates animations that pause. when looping. I've never had this problem in any of the other versions
I"m back. just did a test. Actually created a loop animation in DS 3. Perfectly smooth. ANd i did the A B A kind of setup. saved as aniblock.
Took that same aniblock and opened it in DS 4. DOESN"T LOOP WELL! it create this little pause for some reason. What's going on?
Are we getting an update any time soon?
Hi guys. i've been testing to see what's wrong with Animatioin in DS 4.6.
well i come to the conclusion that it has to do with the Interpolation that DS 4.6 uses or whateve r it's called.
cause let's say i have an 80 frame animation with keys at 20 40 60 0 and 80
i noticed that from frame 0 to frame 1 there is almost no change, then after that it starts changing.
And i'm convinced it is DS 4.6 interpolation mode because i did exactly the same thing in DS 3 and ther it loops perfectly.
So far i noticed DS 4.6 can do good 3 key frame loops. that works. like if it's short of 30 or 60 frames. but the 80 just doesn't work.
Is there anyway to change the interpolation mode?
or how can i do loops with more than 3 keyframes.?
like i want to do an 80 with keys at 0 20 40 60 80. So far, it hastn'worked. it creates a PAUSe at the loop or somewhere in there.
might be frames 0 and 1 are very close so you don't see a change so it seems like a pause. or it might be the last frame and the second to last. And so DS treats those as the no change of animatioN?
I've seen this to, I'm also thinking the interpt is the issue. No idea how to fix except to hand edit the AniBlocks. For game use I add 1 extra frame at end and Key Frame it too, then I clip frames from end until it runs smooth. Most times it's just one frame.
Thanks alot for answering.
It's frustrating but i finallykinda got it.
Actually A B A s with only 3 frames do loop perfectly but if i do a 5 frame one then it doens't loop but i kinda found out KINDof an ok way to loop.
just like you said i take the last 2 keyframes out and that kinda makes it be more smooth loop.
i found this yesterday after doing many tests.
The reason i took the last 2 frames out is cause i noticed they are almost the same. very minor minor change. And then also we dont' want the first frame to be the same as the first.
we want the first frame to continue the last.
so in a 81 frame animation
what i did is take out frame 80 and frame 79
so i'm left with 0 - 78
But i have to leave in the 80 and 79
And when i Create aniblock from keys.. i add a key at 78, then add 1 sec of empty frames so that i can cut the aniblock at 78
That make 78 be the last one in the aniblock. then TRIM.
then that's it, save the aniblock
I'm glad i got it
Yes that is my way. Glad it working Better for you. We do need better control of the program though.
