help! where do i put the old stuff

I loaded carrara8.5 pro on my new laptop, presets (landscape and presets grayed out browser empty) does the new build put the stuf in the same places? I have arch tools, mimic for carrara, howies scenes will going to program files on my old machine and copying them work? and yes I know I need to transfer my library runtimes but that comes after I get things working!

    Take a look at the Setup Guide for Carrara 8.5. Make sure that you have installed the Carrara 8 native content. You need to make sure you do it for Carrara 8.5

    I just redowloaded all my older Carrara content and installed it in to C8.5 and set it up there, with the old adding the folders to the different tabs in the browser. I did have the advantage of not using DIM for C8 pro so it did save me a lot of time being able to use DIM for C8.5.

    Edit: when you set up DIM make sure you set it to Your install of C8.5 (top level folder) that way all the content will go in in the right place.
