Wwondering now if grouping better than parenting by n some cases
Yup. Sometimes it's better to parent, others it's best to just group.
I used to parent the target for my light rig to the figure it belonged to. After a while - especially after stitching clips into a movie - I started to see why this was a very bad idead. I mean, unless the character was wearing some sort of light-emitting device, it made no sense.
Still, it might not make sense that, when using my rig, characters are never in full shadow. But at least the light stays consistent, rather than rotating around as the character's animations go on. Plus, if I want characters to get into shadow, I can, because the target is in the group instead of being parented.
this is just adorbs AF on so many levels

Just change the C to an F, and you'll cool right down!
Wow, 113 F !?!? Houston is considered a very hot climate in the summer, but the highest temperature ever was 109 F. Of course, the humidity runs even higher than that .... a sweaty Dennis Miller once MC'd a big Houston outdoor birthday bash for the first President Bush, he said he wanted to return to his old job as a tour guide in the Amazon rain forest.
South Aussies have been copping it this summer

From today's MSN poll - Americans are not too sharp on geography. (The check mark is for my vote.)
You mean it's not Wollongong?
Sounds like it oughta be: "Surfing beaches and rock pools line the coastline. Trails encircle the forests and rocky cliffs of Mt. Keira in the Illawarra mountain range, which frames the city. To the north, hang gliders launch from Bald Hill. South lie the Buddhist temple of Nan Tien and Lake Illawarra, a large lagoon with boating and fishing facilities."
