Dynamic Cloth Control Plug-In problems

I have the Dynamic Cloth Control Plug-In and have been through the manual several times trying to figure out all the dynamic things I have recently bought. Mostly the basic settings seem to work .. but things like the pillows and non-clothing items need changes to the other parameters. My plug-in does NOT have the extra tabs for some reason. There is no Physics tab or Preferences tab .. and the Panel tab shows the parameters, but there is NO way to CHANGE them. Any ideas what is wrong? Anyone?

The plugin that comes with DS is not the full plugin. You need to buy the plugin for it's full functionality.

I paid for the full plug-in .. $49.95. But the extra features don't work. I tried re-installing it .. and it won't download or install. And now it stopped working all together so ALL of my dynamic stuff is totally useless. :-( I'm thinking of sending DAZ a bill for several hundred dollars to pay for the stuff they got me to buy and then trashed !!!

And if I recall correctly we enter the serial key which claims to be for D/S3 ... if it doesn't ask for or accept one but all the panels are showing, then it's working.
It's apparently not uncommon that the DIM downloader/installer doesn't play nice with .exe files. [they're testing it I think with the 4.6 beta]
Manual download works fine.
Yes that is correct the DS3 Dynamic Control serial works for the DS4.5+ version.
I have it and it is working for me but I don't use DIM prefering manual installing.
The DIM plugin install's FAIL if you installed Daz Studio with the First version of DIM that allowed Program installs. That version did not create the DS ini file needed for some plugins to install properly. My personal view is if its a Program/Plugin I will install by hand just to be safe.

Hi yes and I uninstalled it and the installed it again as well as following the procedure from help. I uninstalled Daz Studio 4.6 and plug-ins and installed them again. I downloaded Dynamic Clothing Control from the website knowing about the public build not being the production version. I installed it launched Daz Studio 4.6 and it asked my for my Serial Number gave it the SDZ... number from my registration and it excepted it. I then went into Daz 4.6 and still do not see it as an option? Thanks for the response Patience55.
Sorry but I can't help any further as I haven't come across this issue myself or seen it on the forums. If it doesn't show in the Panes menu then I am stumped.
Quick question is there a way to reset a password so it asks you for it when you re-install program again? Right now when I re-install DIM I don't get it requesting the serial number? I was just hoping to see it so it so I felt like it was installing correctly.
Again I have no idea...I don't use DIM and as it stands I don't think I will.

Not likely. AFAIK things like are hidden in the registry which even some pros at a good computer store won't touch!
W7 is really not interference friendly.
Maybe a CS to technical service would help ... I know for certain AV products a special uninstall tool is required to make a "clean" uninstall and those are only available directly from the concerned companies.
? the comment about the production version. I didn't get problem flags about the versions.
And since I just happen to have a recent installation of D/S4.6 on the computer, went through the following procedure to see all what happens.

Checking my recent installation of 4.6 [not the beta],
plugin for Dynamic Cloth Plugin - Basic
is as yours, having "Garment" and "Panel" tabs only in said location.
Closed D/S
Ran the installer, [right-click run as Admin], installed the older 4.x edition and checked the plugin status and plugin failed to load.
Checked in D/S for the controller and it's "gone".
Closed D/S.
Uninstall that plugin using the provided plugin uninstaller.
Opened D/S and the basic Dynamic Clothing tab is again available. [whew]
Returned to store and downloaded new installers.
Right-clicked, ran as admin the installer for the bit edition of D/S installed.
Opened program and the plugin now shows as "Dynamic Cloth Plugin - Control" ... everything 'green'.
Opened the Dynamic Clothing tab and yes, all there. "Garment" "Panel" "Physics" and "Preferences".

If it is Installed and Shows as Active but you can not find it there is only one explanation. Your using the DEFAULT DS interface layout. That only shows the Basic tools. Go to Window > Layouts> and change to one of the 2 advanced layouts.
