Hi,

I have some problems with my Pegasus 3.0 modeller. I have bought yesterday the Upgrade 3.0 of Pegasus. I had bought 2.0 earlier, but for some reason I've never used it really before.

I can't rotate or move anything with the mouse. The whole screen is always like frozen, but I can use all tools. Has anyone else siilar problems?

I'm not sure about rotating or moving anything with a mouse as I use a Wacom Pen and Tablet, which often causes problems in apps that are set up for use with a mouse. I didn't get the version 3 upgrade because I can't get version 2 to work on my newer Win7 Pro SP1 laptop, even though it worked just fine on my old WinXP Pro SP2 laptop.

At first I was able to get it to work by downloading and running a file that updated a missing .dll or some such, but now it's not working again, and I'm ready to uninstall it. Too bad, because I would've grabbed the version 3 upgrade right away, but since both say they work in Win7 and version 2 doesn't, I'm not going to waste my money, even at a discounted price, on something unless I'm sure it's going to work.

I had problems with this too when I first tried it, but figured it out after some experimentation (after a support ticket which was never answered - maybe because it's explained in the manual :) ).

It's simple really: press Alt + left mouse button to rotate the scene/figure. Zoom in and out with scrool wheel (no keys pressed)

There is a lot of other nice keyboard shorcuts listed in the manual

Thank youi Taozen for the first really helpful support for this program. It looks like the the creator of the program is NOT interested in support too. His postbox is full and any try to contact him failed.

    You're welcome.

Another thing with version 3 is that if you import a high polygon obj like the standard V4 with the default startup settings, the program will be extremely slow, almost non-responsive. So before you import, set it to "Object" under Edit Mode. Then when the figure is loaded, right-click on it and select "Smooth" under Display Mode.
