Carrara 8.5 and CMS Issues

There are, at least for me, still some issues with C8.5 and the CMS.

DAZ has stated that the CMS is no longer required to be running with C8.5. I do not believe that this true. C8.5 certainly performs better than the beta did without the CMS running, however there are still some issues.

With Genesis there are still some poses that do not work WITHOUT the CMS on. In the past the “Basic” poses that came with the starter essentials would not work without the CMS on. That is NO longer the case. However, as an example, the Hula Kahiko and the recent BWC Pose Bundle still do NOT work WITHOUT the CMS on. As usual the informative message is “An error has occurred”.

With Genesis 2 there are several pose packages that do NOT work WITHOUT the CMS on including the poses that came with Victoria 6 (which is listed as a DAZ product). I have also found that the BWC Sunbathing, Causal Sexy and Pose Factory poses do NOT work WITHOUT the CMS running.

I would appreciate it if some helpful forum member(s) would test this as well and post their findings in this thread before I file a bug report.

All of the above poses DO work in DAZ Studio WITHOUT the CMS running.

I am using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, Carrara 8.5 64-bit and DAZ Studio 4.6 64-bit.
