Backgrounds in DS

I just installed the latest version of Daz Studio. I have never really given ds a fair shot. I like doing animations and often I will create an animated background, typically in Bryce or Iclone. Poser has always allowed the use of avi files but I have not found an option for that in DS. Is there a way to import avi files for use as backgrounds?

    Not directly, though a script (or Shader Mixer) could run through an image sequence.
