After grabbing the freebie, I want in to look at Carrera and find my Platinum status has been removed. Totally unsatisfactory!

Wiccan, you're one of those lucky few that got stuck in "PC limbo". You're last order that had the PC annual was in mid October 2011. You got stuck in the limbo in mid October of 2012, so you basically got almost an entire year of PC for free (so the last actual successful billing of your PC subscription was back in 10/2011). I believe you should have gotten an email notifying you that we weren't able to bill your subscription in early - mid August and there was a post in the PC forum that went more in depth into what happened with those subscriptions, the impact of them, and why we just left those people in PC since, literally, the old subscription system, wasn't able to bill you at all for the subscription. Sorry for the inconvenience and confusion this caused.

Well I have now been booted out and have been in the club since 2006 my card is good. expiration date next year. haven't had any emails to warn me about being booted until today. Please reinstate my account .with my monthly payments By looking at my account here you did not take my august payment. There was no reason that the payment was not taken. So I do not understand why this has happened to my account.

    Thank you

You should be good to go and are back in PC. If you aren't seeing the PC pricing and forums already, log out and back in.

And I'm back in the PC. Thanks for the assistance and sorry for being a squeaky wheel.

My renewal has always been in late November. I never renew in October. So, are you telling I have to buy another year of PC??? I have been in PC for years and have never had this kind of problem! I also never got a Daz notice saying my membership was going to be canceled.

You haven't been charged for almost a year for your PC membership. That came to you free from DAZ. In order to get back in to the Platinum Club you would need to re-sign up. The sign up fee of the past has been waived, and now an annual membership is just the flat $70, which is the same price you would pay for a renewal anyway. So it isn't like you are losing out on anything. Like Jon said, you got almost a year of Platinum Club for free. Keep in mind that if you sign up for an annual membership you get it for a year from the date you sign up. None of that money is going to pay for the year you got free. That year was free, and you aren't going to be charged for it.

Did you get a store credit refund recently? That seems to have been what was causing the lovely rounds of it last time.

If this happens every time a PC member gets a refund, support ought to check if the PC membership has been canceled whenever they issue a refund - that would probably save both the users and themselves some time and annoyance.

If it did they would, but it's rare that it happens. A refund doesn't often knock someone out of the PC, but the few people who lose their PC status for no reason frequently just got s refund.

There were two groups that were processed. Those that were notified that we didn't have an active subscription and had until the 30th of August to re-up before having PC turned off for them (they were emailed weeks ago about it). We just got around to turning those handful of people stuck in limbo off today. And with that, we also turned on the turning inactive subscriptions which expired, either out right canceled and all their time was up, or we couldn't bill your subscription (most cases was expired credit cards or not enough store credit in their account to cover it). Those people should have gotten an email as well today when their account expired so check your spam folders just in case it got tossed in there. If you didn't get an email about either of those and your PC dashboard shows your subscription is still active, that is a mistake and you should contact support to get back in (most likely the whole issued store credit thing.. thankfully we are close on actually tracking that down).

Basically, anyone who has an active PC subscription according to the dashboard is good. Anyone who's dashboard says "inactive" or that you don't have a subscription means we didn't have enough information in the first place to create you a subscription on the migration to the new system or we billing failed for your subscription and it expired. (with the turning the expires on, we also turned on a bunch of automated emails that will notify of failed billing before the actual expire, reminders that billing is coming up, etc.)

I have raised this in commons forum and will wait for support to respond as advised, but I have been paying my Platinum membership fee every month for the last 12 to 15 months, plus I have bought numerous products and wish to go on doing so, why would I need to re-subscribe. However I have today re-subscribed at a further cost of $24 (even though I have already paid for this month) paying for 3 x months up front, but whilst my account shows me now as an active Platinum member, I still cannot purchase any discounted items, not even the $1.99 items they are shown at full price. Surely DAZ3D would welcome making more money out of me from further sales or am I missing something.

I’m delighted to find that as of tonight (18:00 UK time) the new 3 month Platinum membership that I purchased yesterday for $24, is now correctly discounting items, so for example $1.99 items appear correctly instead of at full price.
Whilst it was disappointing to see my original Platinum membership end on the 3rd September, despite making payments every month for the past 15 months, I have only lost one month and my helpdesk call is left open in case that can be sorted in the future.
Thanks to all who assisted, will leave you all in peace.

Do note, that if your original PC subscription was being paid by PayPal you will need to go to your PayPal account and cancel the subscription from there as Paypal will keep paying the monthly figure, even though DAZ 3D may not be receiving it.

I updated my credit card info and still got booted out. And now the only way to get back in is to pay the 24 dollars again which I don't want to do. Its not fair.

For what it's worth - I got a store credit refund about 12 hours ago... and I still appear to be PC: Active.

Any idea how long it should take before being booted out shows up? (and, do you get an email notification, or does the http://www.daz3d.com/subscription/ just show your Current Status as "inactive"?).

Addendum: oh joy, now I've been kicked out (according to my public profile, and not being able to see the 'Members Only' forum), but I still get the PC prices and PC coupon and "Status: active". v(~_~)v.

EDIT: nope, no more PC prices... must be delayed reaction... ticket #149918 submitted.

Thanks for the reminder, I will certainly need to do that. Everything got sorted by support in the end and I understand the problem was lack of notification from Paypal that a payment had been made on my behalf, so it couldn't be tied to my DAZ3D account. For peace of mind I have taken Paypal out of the loop when it comes to my Platinum membership :-)

Maybe the PC prices were due to caching, and weren't really there at all.
    Good luck with the ticket!

As of this morning 12th September (UK time) the Platinum items are back to full price again and I cannot access the members forum.

Have also posted this on the commons forum where I was posting before.

So after support resolved my Platinum membership on the 9th September, it has lasted 2 days and it back to the same problem again, I'am not happy, but I guess I did have three days. Note my membership doesn't expire until January 2014.

I went back to the original helpdesk call 149532, it was closed but I found by adding an update it then appears as an open call again, I hope that it will appear as an open call to support, if not I could be waiting for several days only to find I should have logged a new call.

In terms of how the Platinum membership status looks, just like when I bought a 3 month extension on sunday with my credit card thinking that would fix everything (made no difference), it still shows as active but I have no Platinum privileges.

When support fixed everything on the 9th my condifdence was restored and the explanation made sense, but clearly there is more going on here, maybe it is do with the development of website code as I took Paypal out of the loop so that problem couldn't repeat iself.

    cheers

I have problems with the 'Members Only' forum. I couldn't post a simple 'Congratulations' to Rommih for winning the PC Inspiration Contest—September 4, 2013; I always got an error message. ?????

Edit: Very strange. This forum here works, as I can see. But what about the PC forum? I can read it, but cannot contribute.

You often can't just post a word, its something to do with avoiding spam, or something. Annoying habit as you have found you need to put more than just thanks or congrats, several................... will often help.

Or even, stupidly enough hitting the space bar or enter key before typing the word. Of course the next time you need to hit it twice and so forth.

As of 17:00 UK time the $1.99 prices are back and I can access the members forum, so I am assuming the problem was a general one and not user related. The help desk call logged this morning not surprisingly hadn't been responded to (given short time open) but I have updated and closed the calls. Fingers crossed the prices stay for at least a week. I did try earlier today clearing my cache just incase too, but the full prices remained at that point. Guess its intermittent bug somewhere.

    Thanks
