Question about Collision and Posing

Okay... I'm having a bit of trouble with posing in DAZ3D 4.6 Professional. I'm not really familiar with "collision" and how it works. My problem is... my model is wearing a skirt and sitting in a chair, but the skirt looks very unnatural. It also has no built-in morphs.
Basically I'm wondering where I can find a good tutorial about how to pose people so they interact with what is around them. I know a lot of it has to do with fine-tuning and just fiddling... but what about clothing? These are regular V4 and Genesis cloths, nothing dynamic. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

What skirt is it? Have you looked to see if it has extra bones attached to the hip or pelvis if it doesn't have morphs?
It is BoudoirBliss BBlsTapPants... I don't know how to edit bones unfortunately :-( never tried it
Well, those are pants not a skirt and no, there's no way supplied to adjust the frills. You would probably need to use DFormers (select the pants, Create>New DForm, expand the pants so you can see the parts of the DForm in the Scene pane, adjust the filed so it encloses parts you wish to move, move the base so it's at the point you wish to scale or rotate from, and then adjust the DForm itself - which is parented to the base - to modify the pants).
I wasn't suggesting editing any bones - but a lot of skirts will already have one or more additional bones attached to the hip or pelvis and you pose them, just like posing any other bone, to adjust the way the skirt hangs. But that doesn't apply here, of course.
Great, thank you a bunch. I've never used DFormers but I have seen some tutorials on how to do it. So, I will give it a try.
Thanks again
