You might be able to use the skull-cap layer from a short hair style, just set the upper layers of the hair to fully transparent and adjust the material on the skull cap (there are various free or purchase materials for Poser and DS that would give the plastic effect, or you could create your own). For a bit more refinement, take the template into an iamge editor, will with black, select the hair area, shrink the selection a bit, fill with white, blur and use that as a displacement map to give some thickness.
