Hello,
I am having some glitches since migrating my content files to a new computer.
When I load a saved scene (pre-saved character usually), The figure comes in but not much else. Clothes, hair, props, etc, that were saved in the scene do not seem to really be there. Even though they are listed as being in the scene they are not visible.
I assume the scene file points to the drive these objects were in when the file was saved. Is there a program that I can use to load and edit the original .daz files AND .duf files?
Or is there a better way to fix these scene files?
Thanks for any help

If you still have access to the old computer, the missing files are probably in the Data folder. .duf files can be edited -- they may be compressed, so just use whatever you use to unzip zip files and you'll have a plain text file. .daz files, unfortunately, can't be edited.
Simple fast way to fix blown scene files if you still have all the content.
Load the blown scene file, note all items that fail to load or fail to load properly. You will need this list.
Open new file, load all items one at a time, be sure they load properly, textures and all. They can be just one big pile of items.
Once all items are loaded save this as a Scene file. This forces DAZ Studio to build data files in the proper data folder if they do not exist.
Exit DAZ Studio, Open DAZ Studio again and load the Blown Scene file MOST if not all files should load now.
NOTE: This method only works for items that were loaded from folders that are listed as they were in the past. Will not fix scene files if the content folder or path no longer exists.
