You lost me at "Hello", finding my stuff
I am unable to accurately find my installed content. I see some, but not others, things appear in crazy locations.
I've completely uninstalled Daz 4.6 Pro via the install manager.
I've completely uninstalled all of my content via the Install Manager.
I made sure the Content Manager Service is up and running.
Then I re-installed everything, starting with 4.6 Pro, then all the content.
I've tried following the video tutorials in the pane that says, "Where's my content?". As soon as the tutorial starts, it looks nothing like what I'm seeing in my current version and I can no longer follow it. I've been poking around for several hours and it makes little sense to me. SOME of the content shows up in Smart Content tab, but there seems to be little reason to it. I'm unable to track down some specific items that I used with regularity in Carrara, so I must locate it for my graphic novel.
In the install manager, I can highlight each of the 140 products I've purchased and get the properties, including the directory to which DIM has placed it. How can I point Daz to that directory to find it?

on Windows go to File>Preferences and go to the Content Library tab and select Content Directory Manager, this is how Studo sees your content, you can add and remove content folders from this interface, if content is not mapped Studio wont find it.
and example of this is below,
On the Mac its under Daz Studio>Preferences
