Is there anyway of notifying an artist of their faulty 3d models in the daz shop?
Also is there anyway of getting a refund?
I paid for an environment and dozens of textures are missing.

One which item did you get that is not working properly? A Link please.
Two you send a ticket to Support and select Sales for refunds Please include your Purchase Number in your post.
Three items that do not work properly should also be sent to DAZ 3D in a Support Ticket and not to the Artist.

All this can be done in the Contact Us menu below the forum page.

There is a 30 day money back guarantee. You need to submit a help request. It is under the help link.

Your first mistake is this is not the SET. As it says the REQUIRED item is FOREST. This is a addon set for Forest not a stand alone set.

You can still get a Refund, as noted above.

....do you have the prerequisite content, "Forest"?

I got excited for a second because I thought this thread said Fawlty Models.

    Nobody mention the war!

And this is the reason artists should NOT be contacted. Imagine how many user errors they would be bombarded with. (You're not the first, and won't be the last, lol.) Glad it was figured out for you.

There is nothing wrong with contacting the artist who made the model but it most likely is not the fastest solution. The forum is the fastest way to get info and DAZ3D is here to help as well since they are responsable for tech support for all 3D content sold through here.

The tags are sometimes misleading anyway, so always do an extra check if you're in doubt...

...when I first saw the title, that thought crossed my mind as well.
