It doesn't always have to be the full thing!
Inspiration for the innumerable artists here: Small but nice did not go out of fashion! Vignettes are a great thing and often we (I) do not need more! We recently had a whole bunch of new planes (just for example). How great would it be to have a piece of flight deck, lift or hangar to make the planes even more attractive? For this we do not need a whole aircraft carrier, some vignettes would be enough to open a whole new world of possibilities!
Here are some things that would be sufficient (for me personally) to make whole series of pictures without needing a complete or big "location":
Merchant ship: section cargo hold (at loading / unloading), bridge. Bonus: life raft, lifeboat stowed and in the water.
International flight: two to three rows of seats.
Airport: Check-in counter, Immigration counter, two rows of seats waiting room. Bonus: interior control tower.
Ambulance: cut-out inside room.
Jungle: tree trunk fallen over a watercourse. Small section of a jungle path. Section camp with tarp over hammock. All three vignettes: do not forget the mosquito swarms ;-) ! Very important: dugout canoe!
WW2 Navy:
Warship: Part interior bridge, gun turret, crew quarters and section AA battery. Bonus: life raft, lifeboat stowed and in the water, galley.
Carrier: Part interior bridge, section of the flight deck, hangar and section AA battery.
Submarine: Part interior bridge, torpedoroom, crew quarters, radio room.
WW2 Army: Small section of country road with vehicle wrecks in the road ditch. Section field hospital. Disguised foxholes. Section of a checkpoint.
All proposals are intended as inspiration.

Just so you know, there's a free ambulance at ShareCG, and it has the interior included! http://www.sharecg.com/v/70354/browse/11/Poser/Ambulance-for-Poser

Thanks for the input!
You're welcome! There is also an aircraft carrier there. I don't know how old it is, but you can always use newer shaders, or the Uber Iray converter.
