The Artifact problem

Hello!
I have a problem with some shaders in The Artifact by Digivaul http://www.daz3d.com/the-artifactt. For instance the area called DWA-Wall-base-top-panels - upon rendering the area comes up like the pic below - with a kind of chequered texture.
I have one single distant light aimed at it upon rendering.

What happens if you click on the wal that renders badly, then click off the Visible button in the Parameters pane? Does it vanish from the scene?
Yes it does
Anyone else who may have a clue about this? The creator of the object perhaps?
Can you post a screenshot of your expanded scene tree with that wall highlighted?
I've come across artefacts when I use mapped shadows on certain types of surfaces, but I'm not sure if this is a possible cause here.
The only other thing I can think of is that the tiling went to the fritz...
