Anyone seen Good Omens with David Tennant? I think there is talk about a second season but I could be wrong.
  • jestmartjestmart Posts: 4,449

"Good Omens" was based off a Terry Pratchett book and adapted by Neil Gaiman.  With Pratchett gone I don't have much hope for a second season being as good as the original.

    What happened to Pratchett?

I don't need to kill a thread, but I do need some sewing needles!  I found a lot of pins but not sure where my needles are?

Unfortunately nobody knows... a couple of us sent cards to an address we believed to be hers, based on forum breadcrumbs that she mentioned over time, but she never responded as far as I know... it's scary because before she disappeared she was talking about going in to the hospital... hopefully she is recuperating somewhere with a family member, or has taken a break from 3D... the alternative is not great, and I really hope she is ok and just out of touch.

It's been so long since the search details were given and with my short term memory problems does she have any social media accounts that one can look at to see if she posted or look through her friends and see if you can find a family member that may have mentioned something or even possible message them?

she has a Twitter account but that has been inactive too, I used to chat to her on Skype with a few other people a couple years ago but AFAIK they all left as well as me, checking the account has not shown any activity.

    She won't touch Facebook.

Why do some movies have a fake ending in the midd Of the movie, but the viewer realizes too much time is left in movie for it to be a real ending?

Somebody I used to know actually fell for that and left the movie theater because they didn't like the ending... I forget what movie, and exactly who it was that did that, but I remember them telling a bunch of folks years later what a bad movie it was and everyone being surprised because it had a happy ending and the fake ending was really obviously not the end... and the person being shocked that it had like 45 minutes left to the movie and it was a good ending... They were like "it seemed kinda short" and everyone was like "yeah, what movie is an hour and ten minutes long?".

Yeah, but that's without the deleted end credit scenes which reveal the link to the (at the time) yet to be released "Into The Frankenverse" sequel linking it up with the othe Frankenstein Cinematic Universe franchise movies.

I was writing a scene where Grandma Penny has yet to figure out she will never make it to her 101rst birthday.
