    If you eat something made with eggs, you are eating eggs.

    It's like saying "I don't eat meat, but I eat cheeseburgers."

    we all eat eggs

    even vegans

    not hen's eggs but miniscule insect egss etc unless the vegetables are not organic and riddled with nasty organophosphates

    I'll take the bugs

    It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood,

    ...wonderful  day and forthcoming week here in the usual rainy Pacific Northwet.

    Surprisingly so here in Portland as like I mentioned in the Complaint Thread, it's the annual Rose Festival during which it usually rains all week

    Guess is proves the weather really is becoming wackier and wackier

    I had a similar plan at my workplace. There was chatter about how the only way you could get a promotion was to be out smoking with the right people. so I devised a plan to stand out there with a celery stick or veggie straw, and hope nobody noticed it wasn't an actual cigarette while I was hobnobbing with the bigwigs.

    ...I remember during my childhood days, waiting for the bus with my mum, She'd light up a cigarette and almost on cue, the bus would show up a minute or two later.  When I struck out on my own years later, I contemplated carrying a pack of smokes with me and lighting one up in hopes the bus would arrive like it did for her.

    ...half of a mind also shouldn't be wasted.

    I have bunch of magical chocolate mints in my car's console that cause red lights to turn green if I try to unwrap them to eat them... I'm gonna have take them out soon and replace them with something that won't melt when it's warm in the car.

    I dunno... it depends on the the likelihood of it leading to serious injury or comical contusions.

    Why play 52 pick up with playing cards?  When one can drop a Lego box with an unknown amount of Lego pieces onto the floor!

    At least I'm the one who goes barefoot in this house.  Also it was in my room.

    Occasionally I get told to wear shoes in the house, but only last a few hours on average.  to be honest I don't like shoes.

    Spent a lot of time on this one, but couldn't make sense of it.  Finally realized those who made it may have made a typo - 54 instead of 55.  Am I right?

    Assuming that the "54" is correct, then the following works for me:

    Let: Purple = x, let Green = y, let magenta = z, let "==>" mean "implies that".

    Given:

    3x = 27  ==> x = 27/3  ==>  x = 9

    yx - x = 90  ==>  x(y-1) = 90  ==>  y-1 = 90/x  ==>  y = (90/x) + 1 ==> y = 11

    y(2z) = 54  ==> z = 54/(2y)  ==>  z =27/y  ==>  27/9  ==>   z = 3   surprise

    Find: (y+x)z   ==>  (11+9)3  = 60     EDITED TO ADD: Or regroup to find  y + xz  ==> 11 + (9*3) = 38 ?

    But then again, I may be wrong or have misread the instructions, or misinterpreted the groupings.   I'm old, I've got one fully functional eye, I haven't had my coffee yet, and I've dredged up enough algebra for the day. indecision
