Texture problem with genesis gens in C-8.5 'Final' - maybe a bug?

Hi there,

maybe i'm too dumb, but I get strange results whith the genesis gens. (Look Images)

- I'm loading V5 and than I ad the female gen.

- Next I ad a Texture to the gen. - Everything looks fine (Look at the Images)

- Next I need to fit the gen to the genesis/v5 figure - but when doing this, the texturing gets destroyed (it seems the gen. is loosing the uv's)

It's the same for the male gens on genesis male, as for the female gens on the genesis female or V5 figure!

Anyone an idea to fix this? Or is it a bug?

This is the known issue with geografts mentioned in the Carrara 8.5 readme, though I don't blame you for missing it. Geografts like the genital models are not using the correct UV mapping.

Thank you araneldon for fast reply!
    Please allow me some questions,

    - Is it the same in DazStudio, or does it work there?

    - Has DAZ3D announced to fix this incredible BUG soon?

    - Where can i find the new Bug-Tracker?

    Thank you

Last I checked this works in DAZ Studio. No word from DAZ about upcoming developments as far as I know.

There is no public bug tracker. We're supposed to report bugs via zendesk (click the "Contact Us" link). In this forum we have a thread for known issues where you can see what we have discovered since release.

Also, there is no pubic bug tracker. So if you have a problem with your gens then you are on your own.
