Memory Low while in Daz Studio 4.5

When I first installed 4.5 it worked perfectly with no errors. Then the memory errors began. I don't have the greatest setup, running 3.8ghz amd, 3gig ddr on windows xp pro 32 bit, ATI pcie with 2gigs of graphic ram,
Never an issue till lately. I am not loading anything of my own, only models and maps from other creators downloaded from DAZ3D.
I upgraded to 4.6 and still having same issue.
Appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks in advance.

How many items do you have in a scene when it runs into problems? You certainly are tight on space there, I'm afraid.
Looking at my processes screen and doing a fairly simple render Studio 4.6 is taking about 2.25 gigabytes of memory from my total 12gig of memory..
Seems odd for this to happen to you now could be anything but 3 gig is not a lot especially with what Windows takes for itself..
Not sure what you can do unfortunately. :(
If you can find the budget to upgrade to a 64-bit system (EDITED TO ADD: with a lot more memory), that would definitely help. DAZ Studio 32-bit crashes in my 32-bit system often using complex scenes that work without any problems on my 64-bit system. However, if that's not financially feasible, there might be a few other things you can do to try to get the most out of your current system.
One thing you can do is to periodically save, exit, restart to clear out the undo stack. I have been told that loading a new scene does NOT clear this, so the longer you run, the more memory you will use (I haven't actually monitored it to see how much.)
Perhaps you can also use less memory by doing things like reducing the size of the image textures you use (once again I haven't checked this, but it makes sense.) Often textures are far larger than you need if you aren't doing a close-up of the object in question.
Instancing presumably also uses less memory, so if you have multiple identical copies of anything in the scene, you could try replacing them with instances of a single copy.
Perhaps other applications that are running at the same time could be hogging memory that is then not available to DS?
I have Genesis
Epic Wings
Wing Armor
And maps for each,
Can't put clothing on her, or add in a background or lights or anything, and I think you are right.
I will upgrade to 64 bit and my ram and see if this fixes the issue. My system can handle 64 bit, my wallet had an issue with it though.
Thanks for your help everyone.
I've been having the same problem - until yesterday when I found the culprit. If you're running a GPU management program for your video card, like EVGA PrecisionX - shut it down. It shoots your RAM full of holes and doesn't appear to do anything to help Daz.
