Hello! I bought some mocaps files from posermocap.com which are available on DAZ3D.com. (http://www.daz3d.com/posermocap)
One day later on their website posermocap.com I read that they will release an updated version for Genesis and support for the "Animate 2 Plugin for Daz|Studio".
Does that mean that I have to buy "Zombie Moves Volume 2" (http://www.daz3d.com/zombie-moves-volume-2) and all other packages again?
I was not able to contact them, becaue the contact form (http://www.posermocap.com/contact/) does not work.
Anyone has an idea?
Thank you!

That will be up to them - they may offer a discount for existing users, they may not, depending on how different the two sets are (they may be different by virtue of the work involved even if the end results are equivalent).
We have been dealing with the aftermath of a key hard drive crash on Saturday afternoon so we have not been able to reply as quickly as we would have liked. We have the hard drive back and are just doing the final cleanup on files and installations.
In answer to your questions, there is no upgrade path planned between Zombie Moves and the upcoming Zombie Moves Genesis. We have reworked all of the motion capture data and files to optimize them for Genesis and Genesis 2 Female. Because this is essentially a completely new product, no upgrade path is possible.
The existing packs will support M4 and V4, while the new pack is bringing support for Genesis. If you want to animate with M4 and/or V4, then you can certainly continue to use the existing packs. If, however, you would like to animate with Genesis or Genesis 2 using our motion capture data, then we would encourage you to purchase the upcoming Genesis pack. Unfortunately, because the skeletons of M4/V4 and Genesis/Genesis2 are very different, there is no way to use the PZ2 files from the old packs for Genesis.
We are not planning on supporting M4 or V4 any further at this time - with one exception. We are planning a Swordplay 2 pack for the coming year and will provide M4 and V4 files for compatibility with Swordplay 1.
@Posermocap: Thank you for the detailled answer.
What about the support for “Animate 2"? Will you update the already existing files?
We have no plans to do this at this time for older products. We may do this in the future.
