curious about V4 & M4

Is is possible to save these figure to have them load up like you do with Genesis and Genesis 2?

Like, you know how Genesis is in the DATA folder, while V4 and M4 are in the OBJ area

If I can do that step

Can their morphs become dialed in- instead of keeping the use of morph injects?

You'd need to weight map her first.

Load V4 and all of the morphs via the power loader. Edit > Figure > Convert figure to weight mapping. Choose Triax. Now File > Save As > Support Asset > Figure/Prop Asset.

I've got one saving out now just to test it (I don't actually plan on using it so I created the product under my own name so I can delete it from data easily).

Well, I did the weight map. but it seems morphs don't dial

Unless morphs are usless after you weight convert her, and only the ones you injected are able to be used

You can only use the morphs that are injected prior to saving her as a figure as you can't inject into triax figures.

    then what of that?

Do they still not work with their edition...though...sadly, seems awful that they didn't even touch M4

In Studio 3, I'd save a particular character all alone as a scene, and merge that scene into whatever scene I want the character in/ Not an elegant way of doing things, and not an auto-load, but it works and it was faster than loading a base character each time.

Poser weight mapping isn't triax. Triax is a Daz thing.

That not what I was asking about the use

I can merge figures into scenes, but I don't like loading OBJ files because I don't like going back into the poser folder to load

If you saved the scene with the lone figure as a daz file, pre-injected with everything you want, then you won't have to touch the Poser folder anyways.

Or, you could just use Genesis and swap everything over using GenX and then you'll have your sliders.

...sort of beats the purpose of my question

Why would I be asking about doing this if I didn't WANT to use V4.

There is a reason why I'm not up and using Genesis (I do use the figure) but I"m trying to do something.

If i"m going to spend 2 grand on an game license to use Daz stuff, I"m going to use as many figures I can

Well, you'll "technically" still be using V4 as you'd need her and her morphs to go through GenX. lol
I do understand though. I've been using V4 herself more nowadays than Genesis redos myself.
