Transfer Genesis hip translation to another object?

Hi
does anyone know if there is a way to transfer the translation animation on Genesis hip bone to another object and then import that object & it's animation into Daz studio?

The BVH/PZ2 exporter doesn't export Genesis' hip translation so I'm trying to think of some kind of work around to getting the translation of my animations into Daz studio. The main reason being that after IK has been added it's almost impossible for me to create morph animations on the actual Genesis figure in Carrara due to the amount of lag I experience.

    It's the double group that's confusing the exporter. "Normal" Poser content goes like this:

    Item
    Model
    Hip

    Genesis goes like this:

    Genesis
    Genesis
    Actor
    Hip

    The exporter tries to be intelligent about detecting "moving the hip" and "moving the entire figure", but it doesn't handle this double-grouping properly and ends up bailing out and setting the motion to zero, always. I'm trying to figure out why, though - it seems like you ought to just be able to move the hip and ignore the groups, but it doesn't work.
