Creature Creator - a disappointment!
I was initially very excited - especially with its add-on "Awesome Creatures for Creature Creator Genesis 2 Male(s)" which enabled much more random mix-and-match options.
But alas. Though has fantastic morphs, those huge ears constantly get in the way!! This is a big issue for me, because when I apply a creature preset, its ears affect any conforming head cover such as a hooded robe (see samples 1-2). Ok, so I figured that buying the add-on would give me enough freedom to at least hide any ears. But, the demon character that I wanted to use, still cannot get fixed even if I apply the "No ears" morph. All that happens, is slightly smaller ears (sample 3). And I simply cannot get the same look when trying to build it from scratch.
Is there any way to prevent conforming clothing from adapting the same morphs as those from the main figure? Or can the vendor not just add an option to make those huge, pointy ears that apply tor most creatures invisible?

turn the morph for the ears down on the hair, hood etc
Have had lots of fun with the Creature Creator series.
There is also the CDI https://www.daz3d.com/capsces-creature-creator-shapes-for-genesis-2-male-s
How do I do this? The hood does not seem to have the sme morphs. And the figure has no hair atached?
Which hood are you using, if I have it I will take a look for you ?
Plan B - Do you have X-Morphs for DAZ Studio by any chance ?
With X-Morphs you can create a seperate ear morph from the Demon head, then adjust the parameters to -100%, so when dialed together with the Demon head morph you end up with normal ears.
I have the Hooded Cloak, am having the same problems, only morphs found in the Hood are the pre-existing hood cloak morphs. Have not been able to get a workaround if the hood is fitted to G2M.
I only geta link to my library trying your link so not sure I actually have the right product to test
is it this one?

no I don't have that addon
I just checked the item and it needs the HD version that you first linked to. Do you have that item ?
The Hooded Cloak that I have also appears different to the one he has pictured, so may be another item.
that said hoods are generally a PITA over hairs too, I usually end up chopping bits off or hiding by creating extra surfaces but yes you need to stop the autofollow on the hood with the ears, if its a full body morph the whole morph needs to be in fact dialled out, I will look when I can, got something rendering at moment.
Yes - that is the one! And then the added features too.the product I'm using is the CLoak item from the "Wildenlander HD for gen 2 Males" fantasy dress. See attached.
I probably do not have the HD version - do you think that may be the reason it's not working properly? Does one buy it separately?
I will keep X-Morphs as a last resort if all else fails, thanks. I don;'t want to pay unnecessarily for a Daz Studio plugin if I;'m not really using it.
HD does not work in Carrara I got it for DAZ studio, I will have a quick look on the Carrara beta as my render has 2 hours to go, Luthbel tends to lack morphs in his clothes too so that hood probably not adjustable, will see soon
it is a Carrara not seeing autofollow issue that will need fixing in DAZ studio
you need to load the clock on the figure there and dial down the ears and then save that morph as a support asset morph so Carrara will see it
sadly though a slider now appears its stuck on 100%
I think it will need to be saved in DAZ studio as a scene subset but I don't have time to test it before work
OK you can delete the ear morph target in the vertex room but then none of the morphs work but hood sits flat
Wow, thank you so much for your effort, Wendy. I will defenitely try your suggestions over the weekend.
This clearly fixes the issue with cloak, but those ears still pierce through tho. Perhaps I should just try create a custom morph in Caarara to get rid of them.
well if he has ears they are always going to be in the way, thats unavoidable
only solution I know is a prop coat and dynamics I would use VWD myself
video
the solution is to find the morphs under ears on figure and cloak and edit smooth with displacenent brush and validate
There you go - fantastic. Wendy, thanks for all your effort. You are a star!
A video tutorial even with professional sound trtack included! Amazing
Thank you.
