Applying shaders to genesis

Hi. I'm using Facegen to create some characters, and this requires that I use the v4 UV for Genesis (which I then need to bring into Carrara for animation).

I'm trying to figure out the best way for getting the proper shaders in place, especially for male figures (since I need to use the v4UV or the Facegen part gets messed up)

Facegen will create textures for the face and eyes - but I still need to shade the rest of the body, for which I'd like to use Sample Jeremy or Sample Lana which came with Genesis starter essentials. Didn't know if applying Jeremy matt would switch the UV and forgot where to check that.

Thanks for any suggestions on an efficient way to do this.

You could use Map Transfer to convert the face maps to another UV. Also, there's no problem in having different UV sets used on different surfaces, so if the FaceGen map is the whole 1_SkinFace etc. you could apply it, save a Materials preset and use the options dialogue to save only the maps on the face face areas, apply the set you wanted to use, and fianlly reapply your partial material preset to regain the Face Gen maps.

Thank you, Richard. I'll try that.
