Problem loading Poser Rex and Roxie - is there a fix?

I am trying to load the Poser figures Rex and Roxie into Studio so i can save them out in DUF format. When I load them in Studio I get the error "vertex index for weightmap out of range" and the figures load with their legs/feet all messed up.

Is there an explanation of the problem and the error?
Is there a fix?

I apologize if this has been hashed out in the Studio forum before. I did a search for Rex but too many things popped up that had nothing to do with this problem.

    They are not designed to work in Studio. Non of the Poser WM figures are.
