Horse 2 Shaved Mane...?

So, I noticed DAZ Horse 2 has "bridle path" (the shaved area high on the mane) and - as best I can tell - there's no way to turn it off. And it's huge! It's like a bridle highway! :)

I guess a lot of people shave them nowadays - particularly in the states, but I don't understand why it's impossible to turn it off. 

Am I missing it?  Has anybody made a toupee for the poor thing, so you can do images of, say, anywhere in the world except the US, any time before the early aughts? :)

I'm still at a loss as to why the main model was made this way, but these will work nicely :)

Especially strange considering its predecessor the Millennium Horse has a nice full mane. Oh well...
