Parenting Objects?

Is there any way to parent an object such as jewelry or a tool to Genesis in DAZ Studio? I know how to do it in Poser with Victoria and Michael, etc., but there are times when I want to use a prop that isn't specifically a DAZ Studio object, but I want it parented to Genesis in DAZ Studio.

    Sure. There are two ways you can do it from the Scene pane. You can either physically drag it's listing under Scene to the Genesis part you want to parent it to, or you can right-click on its listing under Scene and select "Change parent..." in the right-click menu.

    Where is "Scene"? The only list I find with all the items is on the right side of the screen while in Parameters, and it doesn't work in that list. I'm such a dummy with this. I've looked everywhere and I don't find anything called Scene.

    Oops! Never mind, I found it! My Scene tab wasn't on the screen. I found it up in the Window menu. And the things you suggested did work!
