Carrara to Blender (maybe plugin request?)

I already tested importing a figure made in Carrara and imported to blender, works with a few issues like the scale size and textures and so.
Just wondering, is it possible to create some kind of importer/exporter for Carrara and Blender to import files from blender to carrara directly like they are and also exports from carrara files to blender the whole scene like it is with all it's settings without the need to save it as fbx or obj file?
Not sure if you know what i mean or if i should more ask this in a blender forum for a carrara plugin for blender?!

On the second link, follow the instructions from: How to use it. It worked when I tried a long time ago. But I did not compare to DAE and Collada export as Wendy suggests.

Blender 2.80 moved from alpha to beta recently. Still not stable enough, but maybe good enough to test the new features like easy user interface and modern realtime preview. /Edit. Old plugins must be updated for 2.80.
