No files in Products, Categories, or Smart Content...Please help ....SOLVED! :)

I started Categorizing my products and all was well until yesterday I started my computer and there were no files showing in products or categories, and no smart content. Also all the files in my DS show up in gray now instead of blue or orange hilite. I have uninstalled the CMS and tried reinstalling, I have searched for the ContentDB file to no avail. I seem to have the CMS in Program files but cannot find the database anywhere. Cana someone tell me where to go to get this working again? Thank you

Ok there is seriously something wrong with CMS....I uninstalled it, uninstalled DS4.6 and reinstalled it. As it was installing I got an error saying CMS encountered a problem and to contact Support. and after reinstalling it doesn't work and I still have no products or categories

My advice (from my own experience): keep trying.
I had to de-install, delete database, re-install, re-import metadata four times before it finally worked *shrug*
But we all know that working with rendering programmes is a time consuming hobby ;)

Thaanks for posting that link, it was exactly what I did to restore my database, I'm not real familar in how to get around in windows7 but once I figured that part out the rest was easy. Just hope it doesn't happen again
