What is the difference between UberSurface2 Base, and UberSurface2 Upgrade?
Should I be using the upgrade one? I've been using the Base

    If I remember correctly the ubersurface2 upgrade gets used on surfaces that have the regular ubersurface on it in order to add the extra goodies without messing up settings and so forth.

    With US2 you can stack two of these shaders on top of each other, so you can get all sorts of effects that just aren't possible with other similar shaders. US2 also has updated SSS - probably some other stuff too. I love it.

    Edit: oops, sorry I misread/understood the original post. I thought this was a US1 vs US2 thread. Must have been late at night when I responded. I read usually very good. Luckly there are plenty of people here that read good all the time.

    Base puts some base parameters

    I've been using US2Base, I'll give US2Upgrade a go now too :D
