How do I turn off 'accept shadows' in DS4?

I have 2 plane primitives serving as a background for my image but the light angle is producing shadows on them. How do I set the planes to not receive shadows? I'm running the latest non-RC version of DS4.

I do not think we can do that in DS Flashback. I just do two renders for stuff like that. One of just the background and one of the characters and then layer them in a 2D art program.

Ehm ... apply Ubersurface to the plane primitives, then go to the surface tab and scroll down?

hmmm..can this be done for normal props?

I have a tree prop that I would like to turn "accept shadows" off. Thought some advice would help reduce experimentation time.
    Thanks!

Yes, you just apply the Uber Surface to all the Trees material zones and set it for them all.
