Daz Coupon Question

Okay, I am new so I am not sure how the Daz coupon laws work. My question is ,,,, if I buy multiple items from the Mega Pack Expansion page am I allowed to use the Oct Daz PC coupon agains the balance of the entire purchase, or do I have to buy an item that is over $6.00 to use it?
Comments
PC coupons do not work on PC or Value items. They will only work on non-pc Daz originals. This will usually be any DO over $3 in price.
For the coupon to be worth the full $6 you need to be sure to have more then that in DO in your cart
What the last two posters said ...
My usual recommendation for coupons is "suck it and see" (a Britishism that means 'try it'). You can load up your cart, then apply a coupon, and see what kind of discount you get. If it doesn't work the way you expect, try to figure out why: go back and read the description of whatever coupon it is (if available), add other items, etc.
So long as you don't actually complete the checkout, you should be fine. The coupon is only removed from your account when you make the purchase, so as long as you don't take that final step, you can play around with it all you like.
As others have said, the monthly coupon is applicable only to DAZ Originals, but not to Value Items ($1.99 or $2.99). If I remember correctly, there have been cases where a discounted Value Item -- a $1.99 item on sale for $0.99 -- could be purchased with a coupon, but DAZ may have closed that particular loophole. Remember that the monthly $6 coupon is a 'one-shot' thing: if you buy something costing (say) $3.49, you don't get $2.51 in change; anything left over is just gone.
Also, be aware that you may sometimes see funny coupon maths when buying items that are reduced by some kind of special sale. Usually, the coupon will apply after other discounts. For instance, if you have a DAZ item with a full price of $20, discounted to $14 by the usual 30% off, and you then apply your Platinum Club coupon, the end result should be $14 - $6 = $8, as you'd expect. However, I have seen cases in the past where the coupon seemed to apply first, so if you had a $20 item discounted by 50% as the result of some weird promotion or other, it might work out being ($20 - $6) x 0.5 = $7, rather than the ($20 x 0.5) - $6 = $4 that you were hoping for.
Great clarification from everyone. Thanks a bunch! Guess it was one of those "I wish I could moments" LOL. Still a bargain at the prices so I will not moan about it. Just save the coupon for when the price is higher.
Oh yes! One other if you don't mind. If a product page lists the vendor as Daz, and someone else, Dose that count as a daz discounted item or Not.
Yes those count.
If you want something cheap to spend your coupon on check out the SWAM hairs included as part of the special PC DO V4 hair sale. Some SWAM hairs include fits for Genesis and Genesis 2... you can end up with a hair for 10 cents. Your coupon won't work on the hairs with a P sign next to the Daz emblem.

ETA: Sorry hair sale is no longer in effect but the link is still on the banner.
Okay! That helped a lot too! Went to a few pages and I see the emblem. Will be on the look out for those little puppies and that will help me make a decision. Great Responses .... Great Help ..... Great Place! Thanks!
does anyone know if you are able to apply multiple coupons and how?
One order, one coupon I am afraid
Hope this be the right place for my question, I have a doubt about coupons found outside the Daz 3D site, my question is, Are these legally valid?
In fact I found at discount's site a couple of links to 2 products (Hexagon - Brice) I like to grab, in fact the links redirect you to the Daz products page and the coupon is auto applied when you add the product to the cart, it works but I didn't finished the "purchase" because I want to know this small point first.
Thanks in advance.
J.R.
Both Bryce and Hexagon have special offer prices at the moment, as does Carrara.
Thanks a lot Chohole, I should be more specific, the 2 links I told before, set these 2 products free, at this point the store price for any of these programs is U.S. D: 19.95, not expensive and easy to afford, if you live in another country than the mine, then get them for free it's very tempting but I want above all get it legally, that is the root of my doubts.
How far did you take this through the checkout process? as you progress you should find that the first page is incorrect, and the true price applies on the 2nd stage of the check out process.
In fact I only got to the cart page and the discount was done in there, as usual on temporal free contents its show the store price, full discount and 0 tax, with a big total of $ 0, but I did not went beyond that step as I preferred ask first, as side note I did it with the Hexagon's link, not tested the Brice's one but I'm assuming it's the same.
Edit: here is a screenshot from that page.
Please take it through to the full checkout, and tell me what you see in there. The cart does often show the wrong discounts. I think that ad is only telling you that there is an offer at DAZ 3D, not that you will get it free.
You can always abort the process at the checkout if you don't want to pay the price shown there.
It seems that it got fixed, the cart now looks normal, 0 discount and final price is $ 19.95, but last night I've seen that as I tell you in the previous posts, moved it to my wishlist again.
