I found this out when I installed Shantara City, which had a poser install. So I am now trying to install Genisis and SuperSuit, yet I dont see it in the folders in Poser after installing it. I see it in the runtime though

You need to install the DSON importer to use Genesis in Poser

Shantara City comes with a full, separate Poser Content installer (it's labeled as Poser Core on the product page) so you're not using Daz Studio files in Poser with that set, you're actually using Poser content.

it seems to depict for Poser Pro 2014, I have 2012. Does anyone know about this, plus some of the tutorial isnt very clear to me on what to do

Install http://www.daz3d.com/dson-importer-for-poser to your main Poser folder, that is, the folder you have Poser installed to. This will put a Dson Support section into your Scripts menu.

From there, when you purchase Daz Content, if it says it comes with Poser Companion Files (PoserCF), you will have to install both the Daz Studio Files (usually labeled as Dson Core on product pages) as well as the PoserCF. I recommend creating a new runtime just for Daz Content and it's associated PoserCF (be sure to map this library in Poser- don't map the folder labeled Runtime, map the folder containing it). From there, you access the PoserCF in your Poser library as usual.

If the content has no PoserCF, you can follow this method to create them: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dson_importer/poser/userguide/dson_content_conversion/tutorials/creating_dson_companion_files/start

Now, let's say you have the DSON Importer installed, but you don't want to go through the process of creating your own PoserCF when necessary, you can use D3D's script to load DUF and DSF files directly. http://d3d.sesseler.de/index.php?software=poserpython&product=dson_loader
This script would also be installed into your Poser installation directory.

Hopefully this helps you a bit more. I didn't seem to find any Daz-official Youtube videos regarding the importer.

Keep in mind that items that don't natively have PoserCF may not translate well texture wise as not all textures convert well between DS and Poser, and especially not procedural shaders.

Regarding the importer video, I found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgGNBlO_yZw (Turn volume down FYI)The link made sense of said video,
The link made sense of the video, I was hoping between this and/or CR2 exporter it wouldn't be much of a hassle, obviously not. I just wanted to use Poser as a
Jump point to C4D, this doesnt seem to be the case. I need to have the supper suit, etc installed onto Poser or figure out how to redress my models in Poser
I now have 2 ways of transfer now, So to get what I want, I must better understand Poser
Thank you for your help, this was fun..... (LOL, Not!!!) just kidding :-)

You actually don't need poser as a middle man. You can export to C4D directly from DS by exporting your model as OBJ files. File > Export.

I just tried the OBJ format, it did not work very well. I use the stettings (shown below). I also tried FBX, this one gave me better results
I still have to adjust certain materials and I need to confirm if I need to bind to the rig or not.

This is for Maya, but it covers exporting the FBX from DS, which should export the rigging with it.

I'm assuming that's a C4D question, in which case I can't answer. I don't use C4D. You could try importing the FBX, and like in the Maya example see if the rigging follows the figure?

Right, but you still didn't know whether you needed to bind it, which is what I was responding to. I don't know if you need to "bind" it.
