    Hello,
I'm having that same problem in which I never had before. I am unable to install GOz or 3dbridge. I never had to set the path for this before and all I get are error message using the DAZ3DIM installer saying the paths are NOT defined. Can someone help with this?
    Thanks,

Mac or Windows? It's working here, under Windows. If you highlight it in Help>About Installed plugins is it complaining about the version, or does it have some other error?

Are the paths defined, in the Applications tab of the preferences (click the gear icon at top-right)? Make sure you are using the right version - "Public Build" actually means the beta.

    Hello,
I've done what you are suggesting but I'm not sure because Public Build means Beta that I have to set up and or define that path specific for that. What should I be doing?

Please post a screen shot of the Applications tab of your Install Manager preferences.

I would try removing those extra DS paths - if you want to be able to isntall content to those you should add them to the Installation tab, not the applications tab. Just keep the first one, if it's the correct path for the application itself.

I'm getting the same error, however there's a bit of history. Firstly, I don't use Install Manager - ever.

Secondly I installed the latest version of DS (4.6.2.118) last week and it corrupted all my saved scenes and I couldn't apply poses (commercial or freebies - I ended up with V4 distorted and her clothes in a screwed up bundle elsewhere in the scene), so I reverted back to 4.6.0.18 which fixed the posing issues but Goz stopped working. So, again, I downloaded Goz from the product library and installed it - now I get this error. Frustrating that updates always seem to break more than they fix.

I am on an iMac running Mavericks 64 bit.

Ahh - more woe. I also reinstalled Dynamic Clothing Control which says it has been installed but does not appear in the plugins list and there is no tab for it.

    [EDIT]

I found the Dynamic Clothing Control plugin and the error says that it was made for a newer version of DAZ Studio. I found the older versions on a backup of my drive so, phew!

*** EDIT *** See above for solution. In short, find the old installers for these plugins.

I tried another install of the GoZ plugin ...

BTW - is there a tutorial anywhere which explains how to export/import from DS to ZB without using GoZ? I've been searching and can't find one. I know it is possible because I remember seeing it mentioned but I have no idea what settings to use.
