Help me Understand Aniblocks

Hello. These things are not always clear in the sale ads, so my questions:
1. Is "Animate 2" required for Aniblocks?
2. I have DS 4.6 and Carrara Pro 8.5 though I'm playing with the former to learn and not yet using the latter...I am interested in motion capture/motion, and would like to learn more about my options.
3. Where can I go to learn more (like an FAQ or introduction tutorial/documentation)?
EDIT: Refined my questions to make more sense...

Here is a link to the GoFigure website, makers of Animate and Animate2 :

There are lots of video tutorials there.
There is a free version of Animate which comes with DAZ Studio. You get the full version as a 30 day trial, but it then reverts to Animate Lite. The Lite version can use Aniblocks, but you need the full version to create your own Aniblocks.
