You've tried the manual? I took a quick glance and it seemed to have some info on posing arms/sleeves. Haven't actually tried to use it yet though, so maybe there's more to it than it covers.
I have this item and took a quick look for you.
When I select the furisode in the scene tab, I get a bunch of morphing options in the parameters tab.
Be sure you don't have typed in anything in the search (which I sometimes have and then not all the morphs show up, ugh).
No, I actually don't. I tend to ignore manuals if they aren't for shaders.

I read over on DA that Sickle added the manual because the sleeves are tricky to pose, so it has some good advice on posing them (I'd guess. I'm just now downloading it)
I looked into manual and there are some good combination (should have looked earlier ^^) but for the pose I want (arms crossed near neck) it still doesn't work all that well, although that pose is probably too tricky for conforming non-slim clothes -_-
You don't want to ignore the manual on any product of mine and Fuseling's. We include them specifically because they are needed for most users to use a product with advanced rigging like this one.
Arms crossed at neck level is harder than at waist level (which is what you see in the promos). Be sure to fix the forearm twist (twist it to the opposite value from the forearm bone of Genesis) before using left-right + bend on the Sleeve01 bones and then the BendArmElbowAndSleeve fixers. You will definitely need to turn the smoothing samples up to 20 or so to get rid of as much of the back-arm distortion as possible when they're up that high.
SickleYield, has anyone reporting numerous data folder errors on the material presets and when loading SFObi02G2F for the Furisode Genesis 2 Female version? If not, I'll file a problem report.
Not so far. Did you install it manually or via DIM?
Thanks, SickleYield, from now on I'll remember to look into your/Fuseling manuals as well as Age of Armor's. I ended up smoothing the morph in ZBrush but your advice and morphs helped with an initial shape a lot so it took just a bit of time. The result is here if you want to take a look.

Via DIM. example, SFbi02G2f figure is looking for data\DAZ 3D\Product\SFObi02G2F\SFObi02G2F_9885.dsf
Many of the material presets are looking for files in data\SickleFuse\Furisode (the installed folder is data\SickleFuse\FurisodeG2F)
I worked around the errors by copying and renaming folders to what the presets/figure was looking for, figuring somebody would eventually report it and I would just wait for the updates.
What was odd is I brought SFbi02G2f.duf into a text editor and change the file path, but I found no occurrence of data\DAZ 3D\Product in the file.

Submit a ticket. It sounds like you got a bad version of the zip somehow.
I bought the genesis1 version as i saw the promo pictures, it's just a wonderful clothing with great textures but i must admit the posing of the sleeves is painful especially when smoothing and collision are activated but the manual is not only helpful, it's a must read (and i guess i have to read it quietly and another time ^^)
Hey, Sickleyield. I just recently picked up your Furisode for Genesis for my character Tommie, and it looks great. I've been experimenting with it (before reading the manual, of course), and it got me thinking. How hard would it be to use a combination of morphs and alternate sleeve textures to turn the Furisode into a Tomesode, or less formal Tsukesage or Houmongi so that my married female characters can war it? Immortal Geisha types of Kimonos. I ask because the Furisode is really the only women's kimono available (either free or for purchase) for Genesis.
Texturing these was significantly challenging for Fuse and I (laying complex patterns continuously across the seams). Further textures for it from us are very unlikely.
It's hard to tell with them laid out flat, but it looks like what you mostly want is a morph to shorten the sleeves and a hide pose to prevent bending artifacts from the hidden areas. I can coach you through doing that for yourself if you are familiar with a modeling software.

As a test, I just turned off the limits on that morph and set the shorten sleeves morph to 200%. The trick is the textures; they get seriously squashed when I make the sleeve drapes too short. I though about trying to adjust the vertical tiling in the surfaces tab (possibly to .5) but I'm not sure if that would work. The interesting thing about the Tomesode (a formal kimono worn by married women) is that they only have a pattern along the hem of the skirt, not on the sleeves. The only "decoration" on the sleeves is the mon (of which a Tomesode will have 1-5 with the ultra formal kurotomesode always having 5 mon). Without the mon, it's not a proper Tomesode. the Tsukesage and Houmongi are semi-formal kimonos work by both married and unmarried women. So, obviously, none of the xisting textures would work for a Tomesode.
The only difference between a Tsukesage and a Houmongi is pattern placement (Houmongi have the pattern actually crossing seams whereas the Tsukesage does not). The Tsukesage is considered slightly less formal than the Houmongi. All of the existing textures should work for either a Tsukesage or Houmongi. The trick I see is fixing the "swashing" when shortening the sleeves. I'm wondering if that would require special alternate sleeve textures or if simply adjusting the tiling on the sleeves would work. I'm curious because I love that violet texture set, and it would look gorgeous on Maria, but she's married, and thus, would not wear a Furisode.
There's no "tiling" on the sleeves, so adjusting it seems problematic.
I'm afraid you are probably out of luck, since what you want is both very specific and tricky to accomplish, and you're wanting decors that don't exist in the product. Fuse and I are much too heavily scheduled for the foreseeable future to be taking on projects like this.
