Bryce 7, Windows, installs. appears to launch, and hangs

When I run "Bryce Lightening 7.0 on Windows I get a small blue widow (screen capture attached) with a list starting with "Local Name, Local IP....".   Nothing else happens.
I paid $19.95 on daz3d.com and downloaded two Windows files :  BryceProContent_7.0.0.19_Win.exe        and     BryceLightning_7.1.0.109_Win.exe
I infer these are two separate versions of Bryce.  I get the same results after installing each one.   What do I need to do?

    OK    Bryce lightning is only needed if you are going to set up a render farm.

    Install this first
    this is the Bryce Program file.

    Then install the Content files    Do not let one content file remove the other.

    Bryce Lightning is the Network render client and can be installed in all computers in your home  network, if you have at least two computers on you network.
