SOLVED - My bridge between Studio & Bryce fails - how diagnose?

actually, I modeled and rigged a mermaid and claymation dude in Carrara and want to port them to Bryce.  Tried fbx format and everything went tangled.  No luck on collada either.  So, thought I’d re-rig in Studio and then use the bridge.  Discovered my bridge between Studio and Bryce does nothing - and gives no error message to help diagnose.  

 

For now, I can solve this project using obj format, but I’d like to figure out what is going wrong with my bridge between Studio and Bryce.
