Luxus for Carrara now that LuxRender.exe has changed?

    Ok, you can tell it's been a while since I played with Luxus using Carrara.   Luxus has changed hands to a group of devoted programmers.   It is now Luxco.   The new name of the .exe file is luxcoreui.   Luxrender.exe seems to be gone.   Any suggestions on how to get it working with Carrara again?   I have tried changing luxcoreui to luxrfender and that didn't work.

    Luxus from the store here works with Luxrender 1.6. Not the new luxcore 2.0. Though some scenes can be saved in 1.6 and opened in 2.0.

        Well, I can only find Luxrender 1.3 (provided by Reality, thank you Preta3D) but not 1.6.   Anyone have a download location?

         Nevermind, if I go far enough back in the history of LuxCoreRender I can get back to LuxRender 1.6.

    No... Luxrender 1.6 is what you'd use with Luxus for Carrara. LuxusCore for Carrara might be dead until Spheric Labs fixes the plugin to use the new engine.

    Unfortunately there is no sign of SphericLabs, no forum login for over 1 year and no idea how to get in touch, to ask if there will be any update to LuxusCore. Would have been a nice plugin if updated to the latest luxcorerender release.

    Agreed.

    I hope SphericLabs is okay. I am very grateful for the work he's done for us in the past. His level of customer support was always second-to-none, even after releasing Luxus for Carrara he kept listening and updating, and answering questions very well, very completely. Then with LuxusCore for Carrara, he was doing an amazing job of fulfilling our needs and queries!
