ASL Handshape Poses
The existing hand pose products seem extremely limited to me. Just vague handshapes.
I think covering this in a more methodical manner would give us more options.
I'm aware that Sign Languages (and ASL in particular) use handshapes as a rough equivalent to speech phonemes.
These run to about 45 handshapes, (some say up to 80) including numbers and alphabet, but also a bit more than that. (ex: ILY, and 'Horns')
Given that these handshapes cover the entirety of a language, I think being able to use them for gestural purposes would be great. Especially if this is matched with a variety of body poses and expressions..
No, the genesis Fingerspelling poses don't cover it. That is a bit less than all of them. Not to mention quite old to use with g8.
